Learning of a modern foreign language provides a valuable, social and cultural experience and we have always considered the knowledge of modern foreign languages (MFL) to be essential to our children’s education. Children in Year 3 to Year 6 are taught Spanish weekly.  We use the Language Angels to teach Spanish which ensure the progression of skills and builds their vocabulary.

We also aim high to encourage all pupils to have an appreciation of other languages and cultures by embedding a knowledge of these through our Language Day.
