Parent Handbook

Our Parent's handbook is given to all new starters in Reception each September and to all in-year joiners.

Uniform

* Uniform is purchased through our supplier, Price and Buckland.  Everything else can be purchased from High Street shops and supermarkets.

Trousers/Shorts - charcoal grey Skirt/pinafore dress/culottes - charcoal grey
Hamsey Green sweatshirt or cardigan - bottle green with logo* Polo shirt (long or short sleeved) - white
Socks - grey, black or white, no logos Summer dress/playsuit - green/white striped or checked (Summer term)
Tights - black or grey Shoes - plain black sensible shoes, closed toe, velcro or buckle fastenings; no logo
School bookbag - bottle green with logo * (Reception, Year 1 & Year 2) School sun hat - bottle green with logo*
 
Polo shirt - plain sky blue PE shorts - bottle green*
Tracksuit bottoms/leggings - black, no logos Plimsolls or clean trainers (for indoor PE) - black **
Trainers (for outdoor PE) - plain black or white, no logos ** School PE kit bag
   
When swimming - all items to be in a bag  
Swimming hat  
One piece swimming costume/swim shorts (not Bermuda style)  
Towel  

Earrings: If ears are pierced, only studs are allowed, for health and safety reasons.  No jewellery, including studs are to be worn during PE, including swimming.

Hair: Any hair longer than shoulder length, must be tied back using a hair tie coloured green, white or black of a sensible size.  We do not permit extreme hairstyles, dyed hair with shavings or markings.

** Velcro fastening may be easier for younger children.
