World Book Day – Thursday 7th March

We will be celebrating World Book Day on Thursday 7th March 2019.  For this exciting day it would be great if the students are able to dress up as a character from one of the books written by the author of their class; but any book character is also welcome!  There will be a parade at assembly and a prize for the best dressed!  There will be other exciting events happening on this day, please click here for the letter.

All students will receive a £1 World Book Day book token to be exchanged for one of the special World Book Day books or used as a money off voucher for any other book.

School Dinners

With half term next week, please don’t forget to book school dinners for your child/ren for the week we are back.  The menus are available up until the end of this term.  Thank you!

Farewell Mrs Daws!

We sadly say goodbye to Mrs Daws, our School Business Manager, who is retiring after 22 years of dedicated service at Hamsey Green Primary School.  Mrs Daws has seen many changes and been involved in many projects that have benefitted the school and pupils in her time.  We would like to wish her all the best in her retirement whilst she continues being busy enjoying all her plans to travel and spending time with her family.

With Mrs Daws departure, the Multi Academy Trust are integrating services and will supersede the business functions and role of the School Business Manager.

The Word of the Week for this week was
